Paine Field's main runway, Runway 16R-34L, will be closed Saturday, August 6th from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During the 20-hour closure the airport will be removing rubber build up from runway surface markings, painting airfield markings and conducting pavement maintenance. Runway 16L-34R will remain open to accommodate appropriate traffic overnight.
