[ARCHIVED] Historic Flight Foundation Member Fly Day Sept. 16th

F8F Bearcat Member Fly Day

Saturday, September 16

Join Historic Flight Foundation this Saturday, September 16th, for their monthly member fly day. At noon, historian David Lednicer will present the hangar briefing on the Grumman F8F Bearcat. Our pilot panel will include retired Navy Bearcat pilots Greg Lambert and Johnny Oberto.

This fighter outperformed every other piston-powered aircraft of its day and continues to amaze with its incredible power-to-weight ratio. It holds the three kilometer world speed record of 528.33 mph. See the F8F Bearcat fly after the noontime presentations. Have lunch at HFF.

Member flight experiences will be offered from 10 am to 5 pm in the DC-3, B-25, T-6, de Havilland Beaver and Staggerwing Beech. The forecast is good. It's time to fly.

Contact Visitor Services at 425.348.3200 to reserve your seat.
